Black and White Sailboat and Test Plaster Mold

This is a test mold which I am making before actually making a mold of the leaf panel. My intention is to make a plaster mold and cast plaster into it. I have never actually done this without destroying the mold in order to get the final product out. However, I have read that it is possible to do so.
